Toni Rennie

Head of School

Toni Rennie, Head of School, at LifeBridge Academy, has over 30 years’ experience as a special educator in public schools, private schools, residential treatment facilities, and private day school settings. She truly enjoys the challenge of helping adolescents through difficult times and sharing in the joys of their successes. Mrs. Rennie says she cannot think of a better way to spend her days than with young people who are full of teenage enthusiasm, energy, and, yes, a spattering of angst!

For the last ten years, Mrs. Rennie’s career has been exclusively focused on students in residential and private day schools. She is adept at addressing the unique emotional and behavioral needs these students exhibit as well as supporting the teachers and staff who work directly with this population.

Mrs. Rennie has always wanted to be a teacher and work with children, so every day is a dream-come-true! She has a B.S. from East Carolina University in Special Education, a M.Ed. from Virginia Commonwealth, also in Special Education and an Ed.S. from the University of Virginia in Administration and Supervision.
