Instructional Assistant

Mr. M. has worn many hats in the field of education as a tutor of college test prep, an assistant band director, an instructional assistant in special education, a co-teacher, and an after-school music club facilitator. He is passionate about helping students reach their full potential in all aspects of life and believes wholeheartedly that building relationships with students lays the groundwork for student success academically, socially, emotionally, and professionally.

Mr. M. is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in Music and a minor in East Asian Studies. Outside of work, Mr. M. loves learning about different cultures, playing soccer, playing games (especially chess), and making music. His favorite movie is Princess Mononoke and his favorite book is The Phantom Tollbooth.
